MHNA Summer Youth Program
MHNA provides children with safe and enriching community summer programs that offer a time of storytelling from God’s Word, youth mentorship, constructive and creative activities, organized team sports, supervised study and classroom time, academic tutoring, recreation, kids computer programming, extracurricula activities and family support in a nurturing Christ-centered environment. In order to provide the highest quality service, we ensure quality staff and support systems with periodic program evaluation by the board of the Association.

Program Overview (M, T, TH, F)
Morning “Community Enrichment” Program begins at 9:00am and ends at 1:00pm. Breakfast is 8:00am. The afternoon session begins at 1:00pm and ends 6:00pm.
(Extended hour is available for an additional price)
*There are no regular sessions held on field trip days

Special Field Trips
Trip schedule and fees will be given to parents 1st week of Summer Program.
No morning or afternoon program will be provided on trip days. The trips usually last from early AM to early PM.
8:00 – 8:45am : : Breakfast
9:00 – 12:30pm : : Activites
Students will participate in various interactive, organized extracurricular activities: music & praise time, storytelling from the Bible, team sports, team games, constructive projects and creative learning, arts & crafts, science, drama and dance, nature, life mentoring and character building.
12:30 – 1:00pm : : Lunch
1:00pm : : Dismissal Time
A child is allowed to be picked up with no monetary fee up to 1:05pm. Consistent lateness in child pick-up by parent or guardian will be subject to a late or extended hour fee.
1:00 – 1:45pm : : Horizontal Hour
This is a down time when students will rest, quietly read, play board games, nap and spend time with staff counselors.
2:00 – 5:50pm : : Afternoon Session
Students will be organized into small groups according to grade level and academic standing. Activities include: communicative reading and writing, math skills development, science projects, ESL instruction, Kids computer programming, computer Lab, Queens Library trips, outdoor recreation and creative learning.
6:00pm : : Dismissal Time
A child is allowed to be picked up with no monetary fee up to 6:05pm. Consistent lateness in child pick-up by parent or guardian will be subject to a late or extended hour fee
Financial Policy (2018)
Morning Program Tuition: $99 for July, $49 for August
Afternoon Program Tuition: $100 per week
Trip Fee: Each trip will have its own fee. Prices range from $25 - $75 per trip. Trip fees and schedule will be made available in June at the front door registration table. All trip payments are due two days prior to every trip, at 1pm. Failure to pay two days prior to every trip at 1pm will result in your child not being guaranteed a spot on the trip.
