MHNA provides children with safe and enriching community summer programs that offer a time of storytelling from God’s Word, youth mentorship, constructive and creative activities, organized team sports, supervised study and classroom time, academic tutoring, recreation, kids computer programming, extracurricula activities and family support in a nurturing Christ-centered environment. In order to provide the highest quality service, we ensure quality staff and support systems with periodic program evaluation by the board of the Association. Location: Education Wing of the Free Gospel Church 156-15 Sanford Ave, Flushing, NY 11355 Program Overview (M, T, TH, F)
Morning “Community Enrichment” Program begins at 9:00am and ends at 1:00pm. Breakfast is 8:00am. The afternoon session begins at 1:00pm and ends 6:00pm. (Extended hour is available for an additional price) *There are no regular sessions held on field trip days *CLOSED JULY 4TH Special Field Trips
(7 trips): Trip schedule and fees will be given to parents 1st week of Summer Program. No morning or afternoon program will be provided on trip days. The trips usually last from early AM to early PM. |
Daily Schedule
8:00 – 8:30am : : Breakfast 8:30 – 12:30pm : : Activites Praise music, sports, team games, organized activities & fun, biblically-based social-emotional learning and forging valuable human experiences as part of God's kingdom. 12:30 – 1:00pm : : Lunch 1:00pm : : Dismissal Time 1:00 – 1:45pm : : Horizontal Hour Rest, quiet reading, board games, nap. 2:00 – 5:50pm : : Afternoon Session Grade level classrooms: math lab, extensive reading, writing mechanics, vocabulary acquisition, and recreation. 6:00pm : : Dismissal Time COVID-19 Response
"MHNA hereby acknowledges that it will seek to take certain safety measures to help prevent, as best it reasonably can, infection or spread of Covid-19. Such safety measures include the following: cleaning and disinfecting publicly used spaces, wearing gloves when cleaning and disinfecting, maintaining social distancing, where possible, from children, staff, visitors, and guests, and wearing face masks when in the company of children. MHNA will also stay apprised of any mandates or recommendations of the New York State or New York City governments and will consider action accordingly.
