English Classes

The MHNA English Class is a volunteer-led effort that runs alongside the Food Pantry program on Saturday mornings from 9:00-10:45am.

We want to welcome and support our neighbors, new and old, in their English-learning journey. In the process of learning practical tools for everyday life, we also learn from each other about language, culture and how to share and build community together in Flushing.

Currently, this class primarily serves beginner-level English language learners, but all levels are welcome! We also hope to create some more spaces for more advanced speakers to practice English conversation.
